You might remember Lana and Trav from their engagement session earlier this year. here we are back in Central Otago once again to capture their wedding day.
The rain came down and the wind blew – all in all it wasn’t a good day to get married.
But….at 3 o’clock – just as the bride arrived at Orchard Gardens (one of my favourite places ever) the rain stopped and the sun almost came out. The ceremony was held inside instead of in the maze but it had dried up enough to cut the cake in the middle of the maze. So pretty.
Dale and Wendy of Orchard Gardens have created such a gorgeous indoor area that was perfect for the reception – I think the bridal party was quite happy to be keeping warm in front of the fire.
Fun and laughter – along with a couple of sneaky tears were the order of the day and it turned out to be one of the best weddings I’ve been to.
Lana and Trav are an awesome couple who love each other to bits and have loads of fun together.
