The Beach – a little love story and a puppy.

After a long LONG long day of school athletics, highland dancing and swimming lessons my family ended up on the beach to work with Maria and Joel on their engagement shoot. They were so much fun and had treated their little dog Ella to a trip to the beach too – my girls and Ella had the best ever time playing together while I worked and the happy couple posed….. a great end to a busy day.
There is something special about beach photos and I just love it whenever I get to do a seaside photo shoot. Maria and Joel spend a lot of time at this particular beach – in fact, rumour has it, that this is the very beach where Joel “popped THE question”. I am excited about working with them both again soon at their wedding next year. In the meantime I am fending off requests from two little girls who are wanting a puppy for Christmas….. yes, yes, I know puppies are SOOOOOOOO cute, but we already have four dogs and yes, yes I do realise they are FARM dogs and they don’t chase tennis balls, but I’m not convinced that we need to add a puppy to the craziness that is our life, three lambs, four dogs and a three-legged cat are plenty to be going on with.
Thanks Maria and Joel for a great evening down at the beach – the Reid Family had a ball.
