Favourite Things – # 3

In our family we put out sugar syrup and birdfeeders in the winter to attract the birds to our garden and help them through those frosty days of winter. Making birdfeeders with pinecones, dripping, seeds, peanut butter and jam is very messy, especially when I have enthusiastic helpers on hand.
But it’s one of my favourite things to look out the window and see the wax eyes, bellbirds and tuis enjoying their treats.
