Coyla & Tim – Wedding @ Grandview Gardens

I have been waiting and waiting for a bride with red shoes…….finally, along she comes, but she didn’t just have red shoes, she had …..wait for it….. red BOOTS (even better!!). Already Coyla has impressed me no end, but wait there’s more…..Coyla is Scottish. Way, way back I have Scottish connections too, I can even lay claim to having a family tartan, so now I was even more excited about this wedding, RED boots, kilts, piped music and Scottish thistles…..och aye it was a bonnie wee wedding!!

Tim and Coyla had their first date at Nova – meeting for drinks which worked so well that it led to dinner at Alibi. Eventually this was followed by a proposal at Two Chefs with an engagement ring served with dessert – SO romantic……apparently the chocolate brownie has since been frozen as a momento.

I wish Tim and Coyla all the very best and I’m so happy that they found each other. Thanks for sharing your amazing day with me, for the best mannered kids I’ve had the pleasure to work with and for the funniest best man – you just can’t beat a good Irish accent, thanks Merv for keeping us all entertained. A special mention should also go to Sara, the bridesmaid, who in spite of being less than a week away from her due date of giving Coyla a new niece or nephew, fulfilled her bridesmaidly duties fantastically. Merv the best man was well prepared with towels and a jug for boiling water should the need arise – which thankfully it didn’t. Now for some images from their day……Enjoy!!
